Ohio & Delaware Votes Unanimously To Ban Wild Animal Circus Acts

The Delaware and Ohio City Council unanimously voted to expand a circus permitting proposal to ban wild animal acts in their cities.

This is just one step away from becoming law. The animal welfare group ADI contributed evidence to the mayor, council, city attorney and animal advocates Julie McDonough and Shelly Zehner Emans who worked to secure this unanimous vote.

This incredible news, along with the announcement this past weekend that Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will close their doors, just confirms that the tide has changed and the world is waking up. The public has spoken and will not tolerate the pain and suffering these animals endure at the hands of people for entertainment in circuses in the USA.

One more vote is needed in February to Ban Wild Animal Acts in the city of Ohio & Delware!
