Breaking! New Study Reveals That Animal Welfare Is The Main Cause Americans Care About In 2018!

According to a new study released today, animal welfare is the most popular cause for Americans in 2018.

The Ketchum Purpose’s Causes Americans Care About study, now in its third year, also shows that the overall cause landscape has become more fragmented, with support spread over a wider variety of causes in 2018 than in 2017 or 2016.

According to the study’s findings, animal welfare tops the list of causes that Americans are currently interested in supporting, as selected by 41% of the 1,000 American respondents.

Animal welfare has consistently resided in the top three causes.

Children’s education is the second most important cause, with 38% of Americans interested in supporting it with hunger, which was number one last year, coming in as the third most supported cause in 2018, after 33% of the participants selected it.

The top five causes Americans care about in 2018 are rounded out by disease research and disaster relief, the latter which bumped the environment from the fifth to the sixth most supported cause this year.

Sadly, environmental issues dropped by 10 points in the last year, from being rated as important by 34% percent in 2017 to 24% in 2018.

The survey was conducted between February 27th to March 1st of this year.

In the spirit of the survey’s findings, WAN encourages people to visit Peace 4 Animals to find out more about the many ways its non-profit charitable organization contributes to animal welfare while saving and improving the lives of innocent animals throughout the world.

Donations can be made to help Peace 4 Animals continue its important work, which also includes promoting a plant-based diet, HERE!
