Call To Action! Support Critical TEAPSPA Bill That Aims To Prohibit The Use Of Exotic & Wild Animals In Traveling Circuses

Please join our DAY OF ACTION TODAY, to end the use of wild animals in circuses in the United States.

Circus animals perform through fear, not enjoyment, and are routinely subjected to violence and brutal training methods. Weapons used for training include whips, shovels, golf clubs, iron bars, bullhooks, and electric shock devices.

Circuses don’t need to use animals in order to be successful – human-only performances are growing and becoming more popular. They create more jobs and can bring revenue to communities without exposing animals to unnecessary cruelty and suffering.

The Traveling Exotic Animal and Public Safety Protection Act (TEAPSPA, H.R.5999/S.3220) has been reintroduced to the 117th Congress by Representatives Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ) and David Schweikert (R-AZ) and Senator Bob Menéndez (D-NJ). It seeks to amend the Animal Welfare Act to prohibit the use of exotic and wild animals in traveling circuses.

Please join fellow animal advocates across the U.S. today in urging your Congress members to support the Traveling Exotic Animal & Public Safety Protection Act (HR5999/S3220) HERE!

Wherever you live, please help us reach more people by spreading the word. Every one of you can make a difference!
