Urgent! Calls Needed Now To Support AB 485 The Pet Rescue & Adoption Act

Your help is urgently needed today to support California Assembly Bill 485, the Pet Rescue and Adoption Act.

This live-saving bill, authored by Assembly Member Patrick O’Donnell, co-authored by Matt Dababneh and sponsored by animal advocacy group, Social Compassion in Legislation, will ban the sale of dogs, cats, and rabbits sourced from high-volume, commercial breeding facilities in all pet shops throughout the state; instead mandating the animals be sourced solely from local shelters and rescues.

The landmark bill passed through the Assembly; now it’s time for the Senate!

Please call the Committee Members and ask them to vote “Yes” on AB 485.
