Former NFL Quarterback Peyton Manning & Family Score Big After Adopting Abused Tiny Two-Pound Puppy In Mississippi!

Peyton Manning may be best known for winning football games, including two Super Bowls.

Now, after learning that the former quarterback and his family adopted a severely abused puppy, he is winning the hearts of animal-lovers worldwide.

According to the Animal Rescue Fund of Mississippi, the poor dog was rescued from a carnival worker by a compassionate person attending the county fair.

While researching the Neshoba County Fair, WAN sadly found out that it also hosts horse races and rodeos; at least one animal was rescued from being treated cruelly at the “fair”.

“This week whilst at the Neshoba County Fair on vacation, we rescued a tiny two-pound puppy from one of the carnival workers,” Pippa posted on the organization’s Facebook page yesterday. “The puppy was alternatively kept in a garbage bag or tied with a rope around her neck, covered in fleas, and infected with intestinal parasites.”

After being treated by a vet, the sweet little pup found temporary shelter with one of the non-profit’s board members before finding her forever home with Manning, his wife Ashley, and their seven-year-old twins Mosley and Marshal.

“She is now a Manning and will live life large with this superstar family,” noted the post. “Adopted pets are the best!”

The future NFL Hall of Famer retired from the Denver Broncos in 2016. Among his many milestones, Manning won Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos as well as Super Bowl 41 with the Indianapolis Colts.

With this latest accomplishment, Manning proved he still knows how to score!
