Here’s Some Pawsitivie News! Cat Missing For 46 Days After The Hualien Earthquake In Taiwan Is Found & Reunited With His Family

March is ending on a far more positive note than February began for a pet parent and cat that were reunited in Taiwan this past weekend.

The cat, named Meow-Meow, was among the missing after a devastating 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck Hualien, eastern Taiwan on February 6th leaving many people dead and hundreds injured.

According to Lin Wei, as per Taiwan News, Meow-Meow was lost in the rubble of the collapsed Yun Men Tsui Ti building after the quake occurred and was believed to have died as a result.

Fortunately, Meow-Meow had not used all of his seven lives yet and was discovered by a social media savvy good Samaritan who posted photos of the cat on Facebook.

Reportedly the translated message stated “Anyone lost this cat? It’s a male cat and he was found the day before yesterday on March 22nd. He is now very weak and those who know anyone looking for him please contact me.”

Lin, who has had Meow-Meow for more than a decade, quickly recognized the cat who was subsequently sent to an animal hospital and is now healthy.

Happy and Healthy back with his Forever Family!
