Hollywood Stars To Celebrate Mercy For Animals’ 20th Anniversary Gala!

Icons from music, film, and television are coming together on September 14th to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mercy For Animals, a leading global nonprofit working to expose and end cruelty to farmed animals. Mercy For Animals will host the star-studded gala at the historic Shrine Auditorium in downtown Los Angeles.

The organization’s undercover investigations into factory farms and slaughterhouses have led to landmark legal reforms, and their campaigns have moved food industry giants, including McDonald’s, Walmart, and Nestlé,
to adopt stronger animal welfare policies.

The gala will be hosted by Kat Graham—musical artist and star of The Vampire Diaries—and will honor makeup mogul, entrepreneur, and acclaimed tattoo artist Kat Von D and Marco Borges, Beyonce and Jay-Z’s business partner, New York Times best-selling author of The Greenprint, and CEO of 22 Days Nutrition.

Celebrity presenters will be rock star and filmmaker Rob Zombie; Alison Pill, star of the upcoming Star Trek: Picard series; filmmaker Kevin Smith of the Jay and Silent Bob franchise; Joshua Leonard, star of Unsane; model and TV host Daisy Fuentes; and Harley Quinn Smith, currently appearing in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. There will also be a musical performance by American Idol star Catie Turner. The event will feature delicious plant-based fare from Kite Hill, Beyond Meat, and Upton’s Naturals.

Date: Saturday, September 14th
Time: Red Carpet: 5–7 p.m., Awards: 8:30 p.m.
