Muncie Animal Shelter in Indiana is getting the word out to dedicated Pokémon Go players that their staff needs help walking adoptable dogs.
The shelter posted on their Facebook page that they are seeking those hunting for rare Pokémon to help their animals get exercise as they pursue the game’s fictional creatures. Players of the game are traveling all over their cities and walking around to find the virtual Pokemons that are scattered around the real world.
“Trying to hatch an egg or catch rare Pokémon? Come down to the Muncie Animal Shelter to walk one of our dogs while you get your steps in! Just come to the front desk and say you are here for the Pokémon dogs!”, claims their Facebook post which has been shared more than 1,700 times.
Pokemon gamers can walk dogs from 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., said the shelter.
