Signatures Needed On Petition Demanding That Spain Stop The Killing of Bulls In Spanish Arenas!

Unfathomably, bulls are not only being killed in Spanish arenas every day, but there are thousands of people who still enjoy watching the travesty.

According to the Humane Society International, approximately 250,000 bulls are killed in bullfights every year. The animals are stabbed multiple times before suffering slow and agonizing deaths in front of an audience that includes children.

Over the centuries, bullfighters have found numerous ways to rig the “fight” in their favor. Bulls have been weakened with drugs, their horns have been shaved to keep them off balance, or petroleum jelly has been rubbed into their eyes to impair their vision.

After the matador kills the bull, it is sent to a slaughterhouse before its meat is then sold for human consumption.

We will never understand how people can pay to watch an animal slowly suffer and die. It will go on forever because of those who are willing to spend money at deplorable events such as bullfights.

We must speak up and stop this cruel practice.

According to Care2, Spain holds on to an outdated system and needs to put an end to this senseless animal cruelty.

Show that you have a heart for those suffering in these arenas. The more you voice your concern for these bulls, the more people will pay attention and finally demand to stop this so called “tradition” for good.

Please SIGN & SHARE this Care2 petition telling Spain that torturing animals until death is just cruel and should be prohibited everywhere! SIGN HERE!
