Urgent! Call Today To Prevent Your U.S. Senator From Voting To Kill Wild Horses

The Senate Appropriations Committee is comprised of 31 senators and combined they hold in their hands the life or death of 46,000 wild horses and burros in captivity and tens of thousands more in the wild.

As the committee is likely to vote as early as the beginning of next week, In Defense of Animals (IDA) has issued an urgent call to action to save the valuable lives of these innocent animals.

After introducing yourself to the Senator, IDA offers the following example and what may follow.

“Please protect America’s wild horses and burros on their rightful lands. I urge Senator __________ to make sure that the 2018 budget legislation for Interior maintains the prohibitions against destroying healthy wild horses and burros and against their unrestricted sale. I stand with the great majority of Americans who oppose any use of taxpayer monies for destroying these heritage animals. We want real solutions, not slaughter!”

To help facilitate the calls, ADI provided the following list of Senators along with their phone numbers.
