Devastating Wildfires Sweep Through Southern California, Leaving Widespread Destruction

Southern California is once again engulfed in devastating wildfires, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Fueled by the strongest winds in over a decade and dry conditions, the fires have forced thousands to evacuate their homes, destroyed critical wildlife habitats, and shrouded communities in toxic smoke. Firefighters are working tirelessly to contain the flames, but the battle is far from over.

The California Board of Forestry and Fire Protection encourages bringing pets indoors to give wildlife a safer passage as they navigate these fires. Placing buckets of water outside can offer a lifeline to animals that are frightened, fatigued, and displaced.
