Meet “Angel,” Our Giving Tuesday Rescue Miracle

This Giving Tuesday, your support for Peace 4 Animals (P4A) helps our foundation rescue, protect, and advocate for animals in desperate need of help. Together, we can provide lifesaving care, fight for stronger protections, and create a world where compassion leads the way.

In October, while wandering the streets of Palmdale, CA, this 10-week-old stray puppy, who we named “Angel,” suffered alone on the roadside after being hit by a car, already frail from malnourishment, now facing a new, excruciating agony—a fractured leg from the accident.

As fate would have it, a kind-hearted individual stumbled upon Angel and didn’t hesitate to act. Offering her temporary shelter and essential care, they provided Angel with the first moment of kindness she may have ever known. Her distressing situation quickly spread through social media, finally reaching the eyes and heart of P4A’s Advocacy Director, Karen Lapizco. She was deeply moved by the urgency of Angel’s condition and led a resolute effort to secure help.

Peace 4 Animals immediately took action, pledging to provide Angel with the critical veterinary care that was her only chance of survival. Under our compassionate watch, Angel has begun the long road to recovery. Upon arriving at the vet, Angel needed emergency care. The vet concluded that her condition had to stabilize before they could proceed with surgery for her fractured leg.

Thankfully, Angel is currently being fostered by the founder of Peace 4 Animals, Katie Cleary, where she grows stronger and healthier each day.

Angel suffered multiple fractures and will soon be reassessed to determine if she’s ready for surgery. Her road to recovery has been costly, but every donation makes a significant difference.

Please help us give Angel the second chance at life that she deserves! DONATE HERE!

You can help all animals and our planet by choosing compassion on your plate and in your glass. #GoVeg
