ANIMAL EVACUATION UPDATE FOR SAND FIRE in SoCal

33,000 ACRES HAVE BURNED, 10,000 HOMES HAVE BEEN EVACUATED

* Press Conference was held this morning at Golden Valley High School

* The Wildlife WayStation evacuated the rest of their 400 wild animals last night.

* Animal Tracks is on standby for evacuation

* Farm Sanctuary has evacuated all farm animals

* 140 horses rescued from the Monte Verde Ranch

* Cesar Millan’s sanctuary has rescued 11 giant tortoises, 12 goats & mini horses, and 60 sheep. THEY CAN TAKE MORE HORSES.

* Shambala, Tippi Hedren’s sanctuary has evacuated their 65 big cats

* Linda Blair’s WorldHeart Foundation has evacuated 30 of their 100 dogs
